1. It's snowing outside.

2. I may have swine flu.

3. For 25 days out of the last 33, I have been bleeding from my crotch. Two separate periods, one lasting 15 days, then a break of 8 days, then another peroid lasting 10 days. And because I went to see a locum (i.e. a trainee doctor) about it, instead of my normal doctor (who is awesome but male and I really should have gone to see him regardless of embarrassment), I got dismissed as having polycystic ovary syndrome. PCOS does not make you bleed incessantly from the crotch, kthnx.

PCOS can (that's how another of our friends was diagnosed) in the same way it can also make you not bleed at all, or bleed incredibly painfully, or do many other things. However, bleeding constantly is a sign it needs treatment! Otherwise imminent aneamia is only one of the exciting things you have to look forward to.

Yeah, the thing with the locum was that she said "here, have a blood test and call back in about a week to see if the results are in. I don't really care what the results are or what happens to you after that." Hence why I should have gone to see my normal doctor. >.< Unfortunately, he's so good that he's really popular and is now fully booked up until after the new year, and for some reason the surgery are refusing to book any appointments for him after 31/12/09. So for the moment, I'm kinda screwed - plus, have been prescribed tamiflu even though I really don't think I do have swine flu, so I don't think my doctor would be best pleased with me if I showed up at the surgery any time soon. :/

Anyway. How be you?
