That's the problem with deja vu - you never know when you're going to get it, so you never know when to mark whatever it is you're experiencing that leads up to getting deja vu.

I never need to worry about what experience is going to give me deja vu, though, since like I said in the post I get an equally weird feeling telling me "you have not had deja vu of this before, but you will in the future". Equally weirdly, when I do get deja vu I know if I'm going to get deja vu of the same thing again, or if it's the last time I'll get deja vu of that particular event or whatever. It's like a mild, useless form of precognition.

I've never had cascading deja vu, though. Sounds like I should be grateful for that. O.o Brains are weird things. I wonder if anyone's had deja vu stop for a period of maybe a few years, and then had it start again?
